WELL, UH...

Wella class today. I did highlights using Magma, a lightener that also deposits color as it processes. So rrrrrrrrad! Also, cut my mother's hair with some lovely convex layers to lend itself easier to the style she prefers to wear. (VOLUMEEEEE!)

Myron Daniels Global Keratin

Amazing class today, now I'm able to provide Global Keratin treatments! Unwanted curl can be smoothed and frizz can be tamed with this service, and the results last upwards from 2 months! The representative, Myron, was incredibly engaging and gave us a huge amount of helpful hints. Our models were very patient and their hair looks amazing! Hopefully I will be doing a treatment on Melissa shortly.

Wet!

I went to Wet salon on South Congress to hang out and help out a little. Tore some foils, dusted up the dispensary, and Lissa and I swept the whole shop. I loved the atmosphere and there were some rad stylists. Hopefully I'll be popping up there more often!

At age five, I got in trouble for cutting the neighbor girl's hair. My mom finds it hilarious that, although she never would have thought it, this turned out to be my calling. I started cutting my own hair due to unsatisfactory results from $12 in-and-out haircuts, and, after a few years, realized that this industry is what I'm /cut/ out for. Austinite, born and raised.
